Marc, Jeremy and Julie travel down to the February NIFP.org meeting and take a few minutes to interview a couple of the filmmakers that have films in the NE short film block at the 2009 Omaha Film Festival.

The first interview is with Kevin Pope and Kerri Knight from the short film “Heart.” Kevin was the writer/producer and Kerri was the cinematographer.

Interview number two is with Darcy Lueking, writer/director of the UNL student film “Minds on Men.”

Both interviews provide insights into the creative process, from concept to creation and ultimately having a finished project that will get screened before hundreds of festival attendees.

Marc and Jeremy sit down with Chris Topler Ahrens and Christian Champoux, writers and directors of the short film Richard Dooling’s Bush Pigs which will screen at the Omaha Film Festival on Tuesday, February 24th at 6:00pm, and again on Friday, February 27th at 8:30pm at the Great Escape Stadium 16 Theatre as a part of the Nebraska Short Film category.
