Sun, 10 February 2008 Marc and Jeremy sit down with Mark Booker, writer/director of the film
"Imitation Life" which will premiere at the Omaha Film Festival on
Wednesday, February 20th at 8:30pm at the Westwood Cinema 8. They
discuss the filmmaking process, from coming up with the original
concept, writing the screenplay, getting financing, pre-production,
principal photography, and post production.Also discussed is the screening of Mike Machian’s documentary “Wake Up Filmmaker� which goes on the set of “Imitation Life� and gives the viewer a look into the making of an independent film. Mark is also one of the actors in Dan Iske’s feature horror film “The Wretched� which will be screening Friday, February 22nd at 9:00pm and Saturday, February 23rd at 9:30pm in the OFF the EDGE category and in Max Mentzer’s short film “Rock Salad� which will be screening on Thursday, February 21st at 6:00pm and again on Saturday, February 23rd at 5:00pm in the Nebraska short film blocks.
